Self-Sabotage & Overworking: The Voice that goes Underground

"For the leader who works the hardest in the room — and still doesn't feel like enough."

Self-Sabotage & Overworking — Masterclass 5

Staying busy is one of the most effective ways to avoid the conversation you are not having with yourself... Self-sabotage and overworking are silence strategies — the voice going underground. In this masterclass we name what the busyness is avoiding and begin to speak it — using somatic tools to surface what has been suppressed through constant doing.

WHAT WE WORK WITH

→The connection between self-sabotage and the voice — what it means when the voice goes underground

→ Overworking as a silence strategy: how staying busy keeps you from the conversation you are not having with yourself

→ A live somatic practice to surface what has been suppressed through constant doing

THIS IS FOR YOU IF

—You work harder than almost anyone around you — and still don't feel like enough

— You fill your schedule before the quiet can arrive

— You have noticed a pattern of almost — almost finishing, almost speaking, almost claiming something — and then pulling back

— You suspect that what you are most avoiding is not failure, but being fully seen

What to expect...

More body, less mind

75 minutes, live on Zoom. Approximately 80% experiential — we do the work in the room, not just discuss it. Bring comfortable clothes and a willingness to use your actual voice.

Transformation

This session will be recorded. If you cannot attend live, the replay will be available to all registered participants.

Integration

This is not a public speaking course. There are no frameworks, no scripts, no techniques for sounding more confident. This is somatic voice work — the shift happens in the body before it reaches the mind.

About Lidia

Lidia Lins is a voice activation mentor, medicine music artist, and former environmental scientist based in Lisbon.

Her work sits at the intersection of somatic voice practice, nervous system regulation, neuroscience, and ancestral sound traditions. She works with senior leaders, founders, and executives who are already successful — and who sense there is a more sovereign version of their voice waiting on the other side of the performance.

She is the facilitator of the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology's physician leadership development program and the creator of Sovereign Voice Leadership — a 3-month voice activation mentorship for leaders ready to close the gap between who they are internally and the voice that shows up under pressure.
